Get a capable PC
AAA-looking scenes do not run on laptop graphics. Epic recommends a 12-core CPU, 64 GB of memory and an 8 GB graphics card for its open-world City Sample. Duke checks your PC for you.
How to do it
- Double-click DukeForger.py on the PC you will build on. Duke reads its processor, memory and graphics card.
- If the graphics card has less than 8 GB of video memory, upgrade it before going further.
- For comfortable work aim for 16 GB of video memory and 2 TB of fast NVMe storage.
How AI speeds this up
The Duke build agent reports your hardware and tells you exactly what falls short.
